Death: In art

Sometimes I like to dabble in something a little darker and different for me. This time I tried doing something a little more anime/graphic novel styled. What would an angel of death look like? Imposing. Serene. Powerful. Purposeful. Dangerous.


I combined elements of death such as the skull motif, angelic elements with the feather wings, and mortality with the hourglass. I really like how this turned out and think I will do a colored version in the near future...
